My biggest frustration right now is that I am in menopause which has caused me to gain 30+ pounds…I eat very healthy and find myself eating less and less because I’m so desperate to drop this unwanted weight. I feel like I’m starving myself and nearly working out all the time, but I’m having no luck losing. What can I do???

    Explain what you mean by “natural weightloss”. I would love the secret! :)

    My dream body (if I had no limits) would be lean and tight/firm…the kind of body that looks good in ANYthing! Sexy!

    my question is,i am 5’4 and i am 94kilograms. What can i do to lose this weight fast? Am only 25,i wanna enjoy my life…but when i jog, i feel so heavy!

    My dream body…i wanna be a size 8,and no tummy, i want to run every morning and feel light…not jus jogging. It is having,muscle in my thighs and lean arms. Be able to shop for normal sized clothes or even beable to try out my friends clothes and actually fit in them!

    • I will ALWAYS believe in you! I know that you have an AMAZING body right now. Focus on happy, positive thoughts about yourself — focus on the HEALTH you are giving your body with every time you exercise. What a gift! The more you focus on what you WANT, the more you will create it.

    • You can get body healing without having to run. It’s great to try exercising in water so that your body will feel supported and flexible. Using soft cushions to support you in your relaxing yoga postures will also help take off a lot of that pressure. Plus, I’ll be showing you some of my favorite ways to rev up your heartrate without doing any cardio, running, or stepping foot inside a gym :)

  4. biggest frustration: chronic insomnia. have been on ambien for 3 years & just going off. 2-5 hrs sleep per night. hearing about how important sleep is in the weight loss problem stresses me out.

    question about natural weight loss: i can’t eat apples, cherries, pineapple, peaches, grapefruit, raw nuts because of allergies and i already gave up wheat 2 years ago for intolerance. i have tmj so i’m supposed to lay off lettuce and raw veggies. now i can’t do dairy according to amazing body now … what can i eat? that’s ready to grab.

    dream body: thighs/hips/buns that fit into jeans. no red waist band marks from my pants. able to move freely. strong.

    • Focus on fresh, whole foods from mother nature – nuts, seeds, green vegetables, whole grains, plant sources of protein like beans, lentils, and soy (fermented soy, called tempeh is best), and don’t forget to be grateful for every piece of food you eat. The power of gratitude will give you a happy, healthy connection and relationship with your food which will stop you from desiring and craving foods that your body can’t digest properly.

    slim and toned, i am doing martial arts again and dont think being too muscular is of importance

    • Muscle builds lean, tone body that is smaller and tighter all over.

  6. 1- to make time for exercise, I work 12 hours a day and when i get home i dedicate my time to my baby..
    2-how should children eat?
    3-I would like to feel with a lot of energy to enjoy with my baby because i am very tired

    • Hi Vero.

      I understand how you feel. I have 2 kids myself. I used to believe that when a person is stressed, problematic or tired, he or she will lose weight. Andrea made me realize that these factors contribute in weight gain. And, she is right…..I’ve been there.

      Let your baby be your inspiration. Let your baby bring out the joy, happiness and energy in you. I’m sure this will give you the boost….the motivation to have time and enjoy exercise. Like Andrea mentioned in one of her programs, exercise should not be working out but funning out.

      I’m sure you can find time for it…like before going to work or when you get home, you can even let your little one join the fun. Aside from the joy you are getting from your child, you will feel more energized and up on your feet when you exercise.

    • Dark, leafy green egetables are the best source of energy because they contain the closest form of life energy from the sun – chlorophyll. All the animals we eat are herbivores, meaning they eat plants, and it is not appetizing to think about eating carnivores like dogs or cats because that would be too far removed from the original sunlight and source of energy.

      Eat those leafy greens for energy! :)

  7. I seem to be doing everything that I should not be. because I am gaining weight.
    Eating modestly.
    I find it difficult to making time; perhaps too many irons in the fire.
    I have to take out the irons.

    • Remember to find JOY in the journey of losing weight. This will help you stay calm and focused and stop the stress hormones that cause belly fat.

  8. Hi Andrea!! I saw u on youtube 2 years ago and I was so blown away by your video!:)

    My biggest frustration is sugar and carbs, especially when I’m stressed, or I’m doing too much and need a quick bite so I grab anything, I don’t feel guilty but its sort of throws off what I’m working towards.

    I would like to ask u how to balance the type of diet needed for exercise, in my case what I mean is if I train hard, like high intensity work outs what sort of diet is suitable, because sometimes when I train all I want is a carb meal or I get weak. A guy recommended high protein and high fibre.
    What do u think? And how much shud a person eat when dieting cause when ur big the stomach is big, cause its stretched so reducing the amount u eat is important right?

    My dream:) wow I want to be healthy, just healthy that’s so important to me, I want to be free emotionally cause that does happen when ur physically fit and healthy u dnt feel so weighed down (metaphorically and physically), lean, toned, tight and healthy and fit loool yeah that’s it I know it will happen I believe it will:)

  9. 1) my biggest problem or frustration in loosing weight is knowing what foods to eat that are healthy and will help me too loose weight in addition to excercising. Im always on the go I work long hours and I dont always have time to go to the gym however I make an effort to go at least 3 times per week minimum. I stay an hor to one hour and a half i do cardio weights and kettle bell work out.

    2) Can I really have the slim toned body I desire I really want to loose 30 – 40 pounds, Im currenty 175 pounds in weight and Im 5’2 in height I went from a size 6 to a size 14-16 I dont like being that heavy, most of my weight is in my hips, thighs, buttocks, abs, my buttocks carry most of my weight its a big one lol! i also have fat on my back on the side &my arms are big also
    3)My dream body would feel energetic and sexy :) I would have a flat tummy slim arms a toned back, slender and toned hips and thighs with some curves :)

  10. Few of your commentators mention being happy and loving their life. Lots of comments about struggle and fighting and being thin and miserable, in essence.
    I want to be happy in my skin, however stretched it is. I eat well and heathily and food is my single most important sensual pleasure (no sex, drink, drugs, tobacco) so I think it’s A-OK to enjoy cooking and eating – it’s what nurtures us, after all. My biggest problem in losing weight is incentive. I’m so used to being this size (big) and have no desire to attract a partner (50s, happy hermit) that the incentive isn’t there. But I’d like to lose the uncomfortable excess and be able to run and play again. I’m looking forward to watching your vid.

    I am finding the most difficult thing at this time is that the weight won’t come off while I believe I am doing the right things. I am almost 50 years old and heading towards the menopausal age. I have noticed from comments above that other women around this age (and friends that I have as well) are dealing with some serious issues around weight loss as they hit menopause. I have bought and read your e-book some years ago and am on an all natural living lifestyle. In the past two months I have been amazed with myself for how well I have been following your suggestions and surpassing my expectations. I have eaten no sugar, no wheat, no white anything, very little dairy, and am eating about 12000 calories a day. I jog for about 45 minutes 6 times a week and at least 4 times a week walk between one hour to 4 hours on top of the jogging. I have never been someone who exercised before, so I am very pleased with myself for sticking to it. Yet despite the fact that I am doing all of the “right things” (and I must add that I have a very supportive husband and a fairly stress-free and happy life), I have not lost any weight since I have begun this journey (and considering that I weigh over 230 lbs. I am amazed that my body (with all of the sweating and working out and eating right) will not release any weight at all.). My energy is also only up while I am exercising (which is why I often walk for a number of hours; just to feel alive). I wonder how many other women my age experience this and how this plateau is broken?

    My biggest obsticle is carbs and sugar, also my lack of motivation. At the moment I am on a rollercoaster ride I can not stop. You see in July 2010 I decided to get fit and healthy with the help of Weight Watchers and jogging and had lost 18kgs. But 5 days before i became a life time member I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had to ahave chemo and had a bilateral masectomy in November last year.. At the moment I have tissue expanders and will get implants hopefully around July. My body will never be the same and I want to get back to the weight I was in Nov of 2010, I was 50.8 kgs and I am 4ft 11″. I have put on 7 kgs, I know this is’nt alot, but i need some help to believe in myself again, if I had’nt lost the weight 18mths ago I would’nt have found the lump.

    After giving birth , am happy to be a mom but I need body back and am still breast feeding so its hard know what to eat and what not to

  15. my bigest frustration and obstacle is sugar when I was pregnant it was normal or I felt it was normal to anything I was graving for but even after giving birth its hard to give up
    And anything sweet is like a magnet to me

    • sugar is highly addictive, but if you follow the sugar detox tips on this website you can break free from sugar cravings and stop storing belly fat. I believe in you!~

  16. 1. I have scoliosis and bad hips, so working out is very hard for me. I can hardly get out of bed some days. I see a chiropractor twice a week and he tells me to walk but i hurt so bad i cant!
    2. What can i do as natural weight loss if i cant exercise?
    3. be healthy, and the thinnest i have ever been in my life, due to medications i have gained weight… my bmi says for my 5’1″ frame i should be between 98 and 115lbs i would be happy with 125! :)

    Not losing weight, even though I definitely don’t overeat, have always eaten healthy foods, and have a positive outlook on life.

    What’s the ONE most important question you want to ask me about natural weight loss?

    I’m wondering if it’s my age — I’m now 60, and the weight just seems stuck on me.
    I’ve had dramatic weight losses twice in my life: when I was 19, and started Yoga. Fat melted off me. When I was 50, and went on a coconut oil diet, eating full meals with lots of coconut oil. Again, the fat melted, and stayed off for a year or two as long as I kept up with coconut oil. Sadly, it gathered again… What do you think?

    If you had no limits, what does your DREAM BODY look and feel like?

    I don’t have a dream body. I just would like to use 20-30 pounds overall and keep them off forever. I simply feel better when I’m lighter. My face, skin, hair all look younger than 60 — hardly any grey hair, few wrinkles — so it’s just the fat that bothers me.

    • Thank you for the great questions! I’ve seen women of all ages lose weight on this natural weight loss approach, including my own mom :) Remember that no matter how old you are, you are making new cells every moment, and the foods that you put in your body is what will become your new cells.

      So in other words, it’s never too late, and you are always brand new. I believe in you!~

  18. What about all those chemicals, that we use on our BODIES every day?? What about the chemicals in shampoo’s, conditioners, cream.. ?? Can they have a bad effect on your body as well? What can you do to make a better choice when it comes to cosmetics and so? What should I look for?

    • Yes! The chemicals and toxins in makeup and cosmetics also has a big affect on the health of your body. It’s important to read the ingredients of all your labels that you put IN and ON your body. Look for natural ingredients that you UNDERSTAND what they are. If there is anything confusing, research it on the internet to find out what that is in the ingredients.

      I will be looking for natural cosmetics, shampoos, and body lotions to recommend to you… right now, I’m focused on healthy foods and what you put into your body, but I will recommend some of the products that I use and have tested in the future.       In the meantime, READ all the labels that you put on and IN your body.

  19. Hi. ya my biggest problem is time. I have 3 kids and tryen to find time between their sceduals and my husbands schedual I dont seem to have much time left to make something healthy so I just end up throwen something together that is quick and easy for everyone and something that they will all like. I had gotten myself down to 120 and I wish I could do that again but it seems like no matter how much I try I cant get myself to loose any weight. Just found out that my husband is a type 2 diobetic so we are all going to have to change our diets for him cuz i dont want the temptations around him to where he will end up in the hospital again. What are some of your suggestions for me to help me get the weight off again. It is mainly in the tummy area that I am needen to loose the weight. I am open to any suggestions that you mite have for me.

    • Belly fat is the most dangerous kind of fat, and it’s wonderful that you are taking on the responsibility of creating a healthy home for you, your husband, and your family. Remember to “Count Chemicals Not Calories” and eat whole, natural foods with lots of vitamins, minerals, and fiber — this will cut down on sugar cravings, depression, low energy, and belly fat!

      When a woman gets healthy, her whole family changes for the better. Focus on foods that bring health, energy, and vitality into your home — and leave the junk at the store. I’m sending you lots of healthy light to surround you. I believe in you!

  20. Hi, I love your you tube videos and website, and your advice is amazing! I really need help on losing the last bit of weight. I’ve lost 7kg and have got 7 more to lose but no matter how much i exercise and eat right, Its just nt working. Is it because I’m not eating enough? I have no idea why I’m not losing weight! Im a 17 year old girl by the way.
